{{#badges: Tobaccowiki}} Torbjorn Malmfors, Ph.D., M.D. was a toxicology consultant, a tobacco industry consultant and principal in the firm of Malmfors Consulting AB in Stockholm, Sweden. His full name was Sven Eric Torbjorn Malmfors and he operated under the name of both Tors and Sven. He was the tobacco industry's main organiser of science-helpers in Scandinavia -- and he set up the Expert Group on Indoor Air ("Luft") better known as the EGIL group of scientists willing to do inverted research, provide witness services, produce papers, and speak at conferences if paid by the companies concerned. He was also considered a member of the US sister organisation (IAPAG at Georgetown university) and the ARIA operation run by George B Leslie and Professor Roger Perry in the UK.

Malmfors was based in Enebyberg, (Stockholm), Sweden, and as an Associate Professor in Toxicology he taught courses in the fields of histology, toxicology and pharmacology at the Karolinska Institute (which harboured numerous corrupt scientists). At one time he served as an expert in pharmacology and toxicology to the Ministry of Health in France.

Between 1984 and 1985, Malmfors was President of the Swedish Society of Toxicology. He also served as Secretary General of the Federation of European Societies of Toxicology and as Director of the International Union of Toxicology.

Dr. Maimfors is the author or co-author of publications relating to neurohistology, neuropharmacology, toxicology and risk assessment.[1][2]
