Background on Project
The Taizhou-2 power station includes two 1,000 MW units and two additional 1,000 MW units in planning.[1][2]
Unit 1 began operating in September 2015.[3] Unit 2 began operating in December 2015.[4]
With no permits or developments since their announcement in 2012-2013, the two additional planned units are likely deferred or abandoned.
