Talk:Apache Generating Station
The section "3 Death and disease attributable to fine particle pollution from Apache Station" links to a general treatise on Hg emissions from US coal plants in general, not at Apache Station specifically.
Here are the statistics for Cochise county in Arizona where the plant is located toward the North end of the Sulfur Springs Valley:
County: Cochise, Arizona Deaths: 0 ($2,700) Heart Attacks: 0 ($53) Asthma Attacks: 5 ($<1) Hospital Admissions: 0 ($4) Chronic Bronchitis: 0 ($85) Asthma ER Visits: 0 ($<1) Data is estimated 2010 impacts. All monetary values are expressed in thousands of dollars.
The data source is the very same "Find Your Risk from Power Plant Pollution," Clean Air Task Force interactive table, accessed March 2011, contained within section 3 itself.

The operator of the power plant, AEPCO, had submitted a response indicating that no actual inspections had been made, that their location in the remote desert could not make the ponds a “high hazard,” and that the pond volumes were well within specification.
