the "affirmations of INSIDERS" should be those for whom allegations of political bias cannot be reasonably levelled. thus, a subgroup of "see also" in order to not disrupt a list of strictly Bush insiders.

I agree, AI. I think Powell has had an incredibly difficult time in this regime; he's been treated terribly; yet he's a man of his word, and a military officer who has an internal resistance to breaking rank. He may open up the floodgates as a civilian. His son, Michael, however appears to be without redeeming value.
Recommend separating out the categories of dissenters similar to that at Abu Ghraib (Additional SourceWatch Resources) .. particularly to identify those in the military on the Iraq issue. --AI
- For this article I'm hoping to avoid listing folks whose dissenting opinions are single issue. Dissent on the Iraq issue could be an apporpriate child of one of the invasion parent articles. --M
I moved this here because I don't think it makes any new point, adds to lacking affirmations, or otherwise contributes usefully to the article. I tried unsuccessfully to locate it in Georgeland also.
I'd like to keep the "Bush regime" article organized around the general initiatives of the administration; and not include an endless stream of responsive behaviors.
Perhaps Ariana's piece could form a basis for a SourceWatch article on something else. Or, start an article linked from the "blatant disregard for fact" phrase (or meme [now I understand *that* better :)]) in this article's lead?

Proposed tidy
I am planning on overhauling this page over the next little while - at the moment it is more polemical and a bit of a mish-mash of scraps and links to numerous side articles.
I'll start on the main page, remove the dead links, unreferenced material and links to articles that were never created. Then I'll have a look at what from the main page and linked pages is useful referenced material and see whether it can be usefully consolidated into other existing articles. --Bob Burton 03:22, 2 August 2007 (EDT)
