Pine City earmark
A previous version of this article referred to an earmark for a paint simulator:
"Among the earmarks in the 2005 bill was money to eradicate brown tree snakes in Guam and a virtual reality spray paint simulator system in Pine City, Minnesota."
User:Manyenm disputed this assertion: Linking Pine Technical College to an earmark for the Virtual Reality Spray Paint Simulator is not correct.
- The program is question is not an earmark as it went to open bid
- Pine Technical College placed a bid but did not win the contract
User:Conor Kenny found no substantial source for this in the originally cited material and removed the assertion. If someone can find a better source that confirms this fact, they are welcome to reinsert it.--Conor Kenny 18:18, 24 Aug 2006 (EDT)
