I've been looking into the allegation of NTS involvement in the IGFM.

The IGFM was actually a continuation of the GFM, which was founded by Cornelia Gerstenmeier in April 1972, and she had no connections to the NTS.

However, there was a problem much later, in that in the 1980s when a certain Ivan Agruzov became GFM's executive director. His connections to NTS were alledged, and it created a scandal. (Gerstenmeier resigned in protest.)

But by the 1990's Agruzov had retired, and to my knowledge there were no further NTS connections thereafter.

Principally, from the defamatory construction of the citation, the main source appears to be a German tabloid piece from the late 1980's, part written by what I understand was ...well how can I put this, he was working with people with a vested interest in discrediting the IGFM.

I've actually discussed this matter with Diana Johnson, via email, and she wasn't overly pleased with the idea of her work being quoted in such a manner.

Though I should point out that I obviously have a vested interest as I am the British representative of the IGFM.
