Lev Dobriansky was a fervent Cold-Warrior and constantly militated regarding Ukranian matters. He is responsible for a statue to an Ukranian patriot placed near Dupont Circle in Washington DC. No one understands the origin of this out-of-place statue since it has nothing to do with Washington or the US. It is there as a sop to Cold-Warrior rightwingers.
