PaulR, Yes while I agree we should avoid proliferation of articles that cover the same topic an opinion poll (which might be a better title for the article than sponsored survey) is quite different from a push poll. A push poll is designed to influence the thinking of those being surveyed (esp voting) and not be reported; many opinion polls (as disntinct from market research) are designed to collect information for public release and influence debate via the media. Push polls are covert, opinion polls overt and its a distinction worth retaining I think.--Bob Burton 22:39, 3 Apr 2005 (EDT)
