I don't know who considers this "incorrect." Simply asserting something does not make it so. Every historical account that I have seen states that McKinley was assassinated by Leon Czolgosz, a Detroit-born anarchist of Polish parents and an admirer specifically of the American anarchist leader Emma Goldman.
