It would have made even more sense for Bennett to have suggested that a way to reduce crime would be to abort male fetuses. The disproportionate number of men who commit crimes of violence, in contrast to women, is so great that reducing the number of men would reduce crime.
Wouldn't this have made his statistical point more clearly?
