"UPEACE/US is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2006 by a diverse community of educators and practitioners committed to implementing practical solutions for building a more peaceful world.
"This is achieved through the following program areas - (1) Innovative Conflict Prevention & Peace Education for Youth, (2) Professional & Civil Society Capacity Building for Peace, and (3) The Global Network for Upeacebuilders." [1]
