Dear FarmerTeri: Welcome to SourceWatch! I am sorry to hear you had difficulty with your first post. Here is a link to some quick pointers:

"It's very easy to edit a Wiki page. Simply click on the "Edit this page" link at the top or bottom of a Wiki page to change the page. This will bring you to a page with a text box containing the editable text of that Wiki page. Then type away, and press "Save" when finished! You can also preview your changes before saving if you like. It is often more convenient to copy and paste the text first into your favorite text editor, edit and spell check there, and then paste back into the browser to preview. This way, you can also keep a local backup copy of the pages you authored so that you can make changes offline. Each article has a corresponding "Talk" page where you can discuss its comments and debate editorial decisions if necessary. To see the "Talk" page, click on the "Discuss this page" link." (from http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Help:How_to_edit_a_page )

I could not find another entry from you beyond "easy post," which I am re-posting below to your talk page, and so I think unfortunately your other post did not take.

Please use your talk page or mine to flag editing issues--we're happy to help!! Lisa Graves

Easy Post

Love the inclusive power of this site. Would like to see an easier (more obvious, clear, quick) way to post or suggest posts: I just spent a half-hour trying to figure out how to add a group to the industry-funded think-tank page. If there could be an "add group" or "suggest group" button at the bottom of each section that would allow the user to fill in basic starting information (websites, key persons, etc), with the option to view submitted "pending" contributions, the site could be built more quickly with more participation. I was trying to add "The Truth about Trade & Technology" to the industry-funded think-tank list, and despite reading and following the editing instructions as best as I could understand them, I still can't tell if my post "worked" or not. A more user-friendly method of contributing would have allowed me to add a basic profile and confirm submission. Any ways to re-work the contribution process?
