According to a November 2010 company presentation, the project was in the "planning and engineering" phase and is scheduled for operation in late 2016."[1]
On its website (April 2014), Mahagenco lists the project as target for 2017-2018 and describes the status as follows: "Subject to availability of fuel. Land acquisition and other tie-ups in progress."[2]
As of April 2015 the project has yet to receive environmental permits and no longer appears on Mahagenco's website. It appears to be cancelled.
