Vijayawada Thermal Power Station (IGCC)

The plant is also know as Dr. Narla Tata Rao Thermal Power Station or Dr. NTTPS. It consists of 7 units, commissioned as follows:[1]
- Unit 1 - 210 MW - 1979
- Unit 2 - 210 MW - 1980
- Unit 3 - 210 MW - 1989
- Unit 4 - 210 MW - 1990
- Unit 5 - 210 MW - 1994
- Unit 6 - 210 MW - 1995
- Unit 7 - 500 MW - 2009
proposed 182 megawatt coal-fired plant proposed by Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation in India. It is proposed that the station be commissioned by 2014. APGENCO notes that it has sought equity support from the government of Andhra Pradesh and that "approval is awaited."[2]
