Background

Canatxx LNG Terminal is a proposed LNG terminal in Wales, UK. The project has received "significant local opposition."

In 2013 consultancy firm Barton Willmore submitted a proposal to build the terminal on behalf of Amlwch LNG.

As of March 2019 there has been no further progress and the project appears to be cancelled.
