The African Wildlife Foundation (formerly known as the African Wildlife Leadership Foundation) was founded in 1961 by Russell E. Train, Nick Arundel, Jim Bugg, Kermit Roosevelt and Maurice Stans. [1] Their mission is to work "together with the people of Africa... to ensure the wildlife and wild lands of Africa will endure forever." [2]

They are a 501(c)(3) Public Charity.
