The North American Coal Corporation is a coal mining and marketing company headquartered in Dallas, Texas. On its website, the company states "mines and markets lignite coal primarily as fuel for power generation and provides selected value-added mining services for other natural resources companies."[1]

"North American Coal operates six surface lignite mines in North Dakota, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas, and also provides dragline mining services for independently owned limerock quarries in Florida," it states on its website.
