Shahapur Thermal Power Project is a 1200-1800 megawatt (MW) coal-fired power station being developed by Maharashtra Energy Generation Limited, a subsidiary of Reliance Power. MEGL has sought tender bids for the development of two identical super-critical coal units "in the range of 1200-1800 MW".[1]
