Background
The project was originally permitted as a 600 MW (2 x 300 MW) power station, according to the first Environmental Clearance issued October 28, 2009.[2] In December 2010 a new Environmental Clearance was issued for a 1200 MW (2 x 600 MW) project.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag;
