Background
In 2013, four companies - Myanmar Ministry of Electric Power, Diamond Palace Services Orange of Myanmar, Powergen of India and Global Adviser of Singapore - agreed to build a 500 MW power station in Kyauktan Township. The plant will provide power to the Yangon region.[1]
