1 Force Gov
1 Force Gov is one of the 2,000+ corporations featured in the Washington Post's 2-year long investigative series, Top Secret America, in which Post investigative journalists Dana Priest and William Arkin uncovered the massive, "seen, but invisible" underbelly of that has unfurled inside of the post September 11, 2001 National Security State apparatus within the United States.[1][2]
It is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, and has a second location in Herndon, Virginia, which is about 20 miles west of the Pentagon.
Its website says, "Drawing from a wide range of capabilities and experience in technical and security services, [we] provide custom solutions that enable our customers to meet the complex demands of the modern world. With proven success in supporting some of the most dynamic and challenging programs within the public and private sectors, we've built a company with the resources to support client needs both large and small. However, [we] maintain the nimble and independent nature that allows us to provide customer focused, responsive services anytime, anywhere."[3] On its "About" page, it states, "Today’s marketplace features obstacles such as changes in technology, expanding regulations and growing security threats. 1FORCE provides cost-effective, innovative solutions enabling our clients to focus on their core operations and conduct business as usual. From comprehensive security solutions to critical IT and engineering support, 1FORCE offers technical and professional services for government, military, law enforcement and commercial organizations worldwide. We integrate our many competencies to provide superior value to our customers."[4]
1 Force also says it is "a leading provider of technical and security services, conducted advanced SWAT training to Atlanta's North Metro Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams." Furthermore, it states that it "provides basic and advanced training courses for a wide range of missions, terrains and tactical situations to military, law enforcement, government and civilian organizations worldwide. Our training specialists draw on operational experience to bring innovative techniques customized to our meet our clients' needs."[5]
Its "Contact Us" page states, "Due to the sensitive nature of our services, we take strict precautions in assessing the legitimacy of potential clients and recruits. All legitimate prospects undergo a thorough procedure of due diligence in order to ensure the unparalleled standards of 1FORCE."[6]
Leadership
On March 12, 2010, 1 Force Gov announced that Bob Barr, former Congressman and Presidential candiate joined the Board of Directors. Barr represented the 7th District of Georgia in the U. S. House of Representatives from 1995 to 2003, and was the 2008 Libertarian Party nominee for President of the United States. Barr was a member of the Central Intelligence Agency from 1971-1978.[7]
1 Force Gov has a "Director of Special Operations" by the name of George Wells, who "[p]rior to joining 1 Force, spent five years in Iraq working for Aegis Defence Services, where he held numerous leadership and operational roles...While in Iraq, he was a lead instructor training U. S. Special Forces units as well as various international government and private military forces...[H]e [has also] provided advanced training to military and law enforcement agencies with Sabre Tactical Training Resource Research, where he obtained the certification of Master Instructor...[He] has significant...experience...in combat medicine, close quarter battle, SWAT, defensive tactics, and advanced small arm tactics as well as multiple certifications in risk assessment and medicine."[8]

The Chief Administrative Officer of 1 Force is Dewey Ingham.[9]One of the more notable experiences on his resume includes working for URENCO USA, a British company building a uranium enrichment facility in New Mexico, which "...[operates] several uranium enrichment plants in Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom, and the United States. It supplies nuclear power stations in about 15 countries in Europe and overseas. Worldwide Urenco has a 25% share of the market for enrichment services."[10][11]
