Aberdeen Mine is a coal mining operation in Price, Utah, operated by Andalex Resources and owned by UtahAmerican Energy, a subsidiary of Cleveland, Ohio based Murray Energy.
On March 20, 2008, Andalex Resources was fined $420,300 by Federal authorities for "flagrant violations" leading to fire and explosion hazards at the mine.[1]
