Agriculture Production Cooperatives (CPAs) are a type of cooperative organization for peasant farmers in Cuba.
- "Agriculture Production Cooperatives (CPAs) are collective farms in which the land and all productive assets like machinery, warehouses, etc., are owned collectively."[1]
CPAs were created as a form of organization at the Fifth Congress of the National Small Farmers Association of Cuba (ANAP). As of 1998, 1139 CPAs existed in Cuba, covering 710,000 hectares (with an average of 625 hectares each), with 63,000 members.[2]
