Aktubinsk New power station (also known as Aktyubinsk power station and Aktobe power station) was a proposed 60-megwatt (MW) coal-fired power station in Aktobe, Kazakhstan.

Background on Plant

Kazakhenergo had proposed a 60 megawatt coal plant in Aktobe (formerly Aktyubinsk), but the power project for Aktobe was later proposed to be a 25 to 100 MW natural gas plant, with a feasibility study financed by the US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) in 2014.
