Alister Paterson, a former journalist, is a director and co-owner of Simpson Paterson, a small Victorian lobbying firm.[1]
Paterson was a Liberal Party member for the seat of South Barwon in the Victorian Parliament between 1992 and 2002[2] and chief of staff for Melbourne Lord Mayor Robert Doyle.[3]
A biographical note states that Paterson has previously worked in the Lord Mayor's Office in the City of Melbourne, for Paterson Media and Invest Hong Kong.[4]
