Background
The power station has been proposed by DCM Shriram Consolidated. Terms of Reference (ToR) for the plant were issued by the Ministry of Environment and Forests on December 31, 2009.[1]
As of August 2014, the project appears to be abandoned since there has been no further reports of developments nor application for further environmental clearance in over four years.
