Anadyrskaya power station is a one-unit, 30-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Anadyr in the Russia. A second unit that initially ran on coal was converted to run on gas in 2018.

Background on Plant

The plant's first unit was converted to run on gas in 2018, and the second unit is scheduled to be converted to gas in 2019-2020. The estimated savings of this conversion are 112 million rubles over eight years. In March 2019 it was reported that unit 2 would be converted to run on gas by 2020.
