Anadyrskaya power station is a one-unit, 30-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Anadyr in the Russia. A second unit that initially ran on coal was converted to run on gas in 2018.[1]

Background on Plant

The plant's first unit was converted to run on gas in 2018, and the second unit is scheduled to be converted to gas in 2019-2020.[1] The estimated savings of this conversion are 112 million rubles over eight years.[1] In March 2019 it was reported that unit 2 would be converted to run on gas by 2020.[2]
