Andrew B. Steinberg
Andrew B. Steinberg, of Maryland, was nominated February 9, 2006, by President George W. Bush to be Assistant Secretary of Transportation for Aviation and International Affairs in the U.S. Department of Transportation.
"Steinberg currently serves as Chief Counsel for the Federal Aviation Administration at the Department of Transportation. Prior to this, he served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Church & Dwight Co., Inc. He was also Executive Vice President for Administration, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Travelocity.com, Inc, and Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Sabre. Earlier in his career, Mr. Steinberg served as Associate General Counsel for American Airlines. Mr. Steinberg received his bachelor's degree from Princeton University and his JD from Harvard University Law School." [1]
