Anne Fitzgerald
Anne Fitzgerald "is the director of Anne Fitzgerald Associates, a consulting practice specializing in the design and management of fellowship programs focusing on the areas of environment and sustainable development, international development, and social action.
"Since 1985, Anne has provided leadership and consultation to inform foundations and non-profit organizations in the design, development and assessment of both domestic and international programs.
"Anne has coordinated national and international policy-level conferences on such topics as global environmental challenges and trends, preservation of genetic diversity and South African land reform policies. Anne attended the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) and the Women’s Forum in Bejing, China. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Development Group for Alternative Policies (DGAP), and the International Rivers Network (IRN).
"Anne has traveled and worked in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Europe. She holds a BA degree in Spanish from Immaculata College and an MA degree in Education from Ohio State University and has completed course work towards a masters in Ethnoecology.“ [1]
