The Areas Of Outstanding Natural Beauty Group exists 'to provide a parliamentary forum for the consideration of policy and practice affecting Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and for the promotion and management of these invaluable parts of our countryside heritage in order to protect the environment, landscape and the economic and social wellbeing of local communities'
