Azadeh Golshan
Azadeh Golshan "has been active in the reproductive justice movement for nine years and began working with Choice USA as a student activist in 2002. She joined the board of directors in 2003 and, before her election as board chair, served as board secretary for four years. By day, Azi is an immigration paralegal with Berry Appleman; Leiden LLP in Atlanta and also serves as a seventh and eighth grade Sunday School teacher at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church. Prior to joining Berry Appleman, Azi was the Alumni Fellow at the Civil Liberties and Public Policy Program, where she co-coordinated the national conference "From Abortion Rights to Social Justice." She is a graduate of Hampshire College and a 2003 recipient of the national Top 30 Under 30 Activists for Choice award. Azi has worked with a multitude of local, state and national organizations including SPARK Reproductive Justice Now, the Population and Development Program, the Eastern Massachusetts Abortion Fund and NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts. She has been a speaker for numerous social justice conferences and panels, and is co-author of the article "Pro-Whose-Life? Ten Reasons Why Militarism is Bad for Your Health," which was published in the Women's Review of Books in 2004." [1]
