According to a brief biographical profile supplied to the National Journalism Center Gracey attended a course in spring 1983 and has subsequently been "press aide, Representative Bill Schuette, communications director, Jar- Mon Associates, communications director, Committee to Preserve Social Security, manager of media relations, Health Insurance Association of America, senior public relations writer, Heritage Foundation, writer, Kanter and Associates".
