The Bauman Foundation "was funded by the estate of Lionel R. Bauman, a New York City lawyer and businessman. He was a partner in the real-estate development firm of Eugene M. Grant & Co. The foundation is managed by Lionel's daughter, Patricia Bauman." [1]
