The map below shows the location of Yuquan District, the approximate location where the plant would be built in Hohhot Prefecture, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Background on Project
According to a report by World Resources Institute, Sichuan Beineng is planning to build a coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 600 MW in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.[1]
However, there appear to be no other public information sources of the proposed power station. As of 2014 Sichuan Beineng describes itself as mainly a hydropower company.[2]
