Bellara power station

Bellara power station also known as Jijel Combined Cycle Power Plant is a 1,400-megawatt (MW) gas-fired power plant under construction (as of Nov. 2019) in Jijel Province, Algeria.

Background

Hyundai won the combined cycle power plant contract, beginning the project in 2014. In October of 2018, Move it Magazine reported that the power plant "should be fully operational by the end of this year." However, the African Power Platform list the project as "Under construction" while Zawya labels it "delayed"
