He was a member of the Management Board of KazMunaiGas Exploration Production JSC where he was responsible for the finance function, and earlier was Group Risk Manager at Kazakhmys Plc. Previously he has worked at NM Rothschild & Sons Ltd, HSBC Holdings Plc and Deloitte in London. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales."
