The Bevan Foundation develops ideas that change Wales and improve people’s lives.

"The inaugural Bevan Prize for Health and Well-being was awarded on Monday 1st July in Westminster to celebrate one individual and organisation who have made an outstanding contribution to health and well-being in their field in the past year (1st January 2012-31st December 2012). The presentation event, held in the Attlee Room at Portcullis House was hosted by Dr Hywel Francis MP, attracted around 90 guests from across England and Wales, and included nominees, nominators, MPs, peers and other interested parties. Prizes were awarded by Baroness Ilora Finlay of Llandaff, Christina McAnea Head of Health at UNISON and Jaselle Williams, Trustee of the Bevan Foundation and Secretary of the Aneurin Bevan Society, representing the judges."[1]
