Bodhi Eco-Project
"Bodhi Eco-Project, a charity and company limited by guarantee, presents a positive and creative response to the ecological and social challenges we face today. It is a dynamic hub of activities and resources that empower us to live sustainably and harmoniously with each other and with this precious, living planet.
One of our main projects, in partnership with SCI (Sustainable Communities Initiative), is the design and building of an ecovillage, incorporating low impact, affordable housing; eco-friendly buildings; renewable energy technology and land stewardship practices... We take inspiration from Buddhism, deep ecology and ecopsychology which have an awareness of our interconnectedness with the living universe. ‘"[1]
