Bowie No 2 Mine

In March 2013, Bowie Resources secured an agreement with the Port of Stockton to export up to 1 million tonnes per year from the mine.

In October 2014 Bowie said it would be scaling back production at the Bowie #2 mine in response to the termination of its coal supply agreement with the Tennessee Valley Authority and continued weakness in coal demand in the region.
