Since its formation in 1999, The Brisbane Institute has "developed as a generator of ideas and a facilitator of discussion." [1]
Professor Peter Spearritt is the Executive Director of the Brisbane Institute. "Peter has served on Prime Minister Keating's Advisory Panel on Cultural Policy, which produced the Creative Nation report, on the National Advisory Committee on Housing and Urban Redevelopment and on the Review of Australian Honours and Awards."
