Bruce Hawker is the managing director of Hawker Britton, a public relations firm which in part lobbies The Australian Government. Clients include pharmaceutical firms; GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis Pharmaceuticals Australia, JANSSEN-CILAG, Sanofi-Aventis Australia and Pfizer.[1]
Bruce Hawker is associated with the 2004 establishment of the Brain & Mind Research Institute. Hawker Britton is listed as the lobbyist firm for the Institute in 2009. [2]
Prior to the establishment of Hawker Britton in 1997, Bruce Hawker was former NSW Premier Bob Carr’s chief of staff for nine years. [3]
