Background on Plant
CKI Lamma power station is an eight-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 2,500 MW. The plant was completed between 1982 and 1997, and is owned by Cheung Kong Infrastructure.[1]
Units 1 & 2 of 250 MW each were retired in 2017 and 2018, respectively.[2]
