CPI Minsheng power station (中电国际商丘民生热电公司) is a 700-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Henan Province, China.

Background on Plant

China Power International has proposed the 2 x 350MW Minsheng coal plant in Yangguanmiao Village, Liangyuan District. The project was permitted in 2015.[1]

As of 2016 the power station is under construction.[2]

Unit 1 was commissioned in November 2018.[3] Unit 2 was commissioned in January 2019.[4]

Ownership

In July 2015, China Power Investment Corporation (CPI) and State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation (SNPTC) merged to become State Power Investment Corporation (国家电力投资集团), one of the five largest state-owned electricity producers in the People's Republic of China.[5]
