CPV Nanticoke power station

CPV Nanticoke power station was a proposed 1,200-megawatt (MW) gas-fired power plant in Haldimand County in the province of Ontario, Canada. It is also called the CPV Nanticoke Energy Centre.[1]

Background
In March 2011, CPV announced that it had completed the Environmental Screening Process for the power station and that it could be in service by 2015.[1]
The power station was to be built a few blocks away from the Nanticoke Generating Station, a coal-fired power plant that closed down in 2013[2] and has since been replaced by a solar farm.[3]
CPV provides no other development information on the Nanticoke Energy Centre[4] and the project appears to be cancelled.
