Background on Project
CR Dafang Waste Coal power station is a proposed 2 x 350 MW supercritical coal plant proposed by China Resources (CR) Power Holdings for Datang County. It would run on waste coal. It was planned to start construction in 2016 and be completed in 2018.[1]
In 2016 it was reported the plant was not sponsor CR Power Holdings' priority and would therefore not be listed in the Guizhou Province's 13th 5-year energy plan. Plans for the plant are therefore suspended indefinitely.[2]
