Background on Project
China Resources is currently planning to build a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 700 MW in Hebei Province. The project was originally approved for 600 MW but was subsequently increased.[1][2][3] It is a heat and electricity cogeneration power plant, using sea water instead of fresh water as sources.[4]
The power station was completed in 2015.[5]
