Carol Kuhre

Carol Kuhre "is an organizational development and fund raising consultant and a volunteer with grass-roots groups in Appalachia, particularly those dealing with global climate change. She served for fifteen years as executive director of Rural Action, a community-based organization working on sustainable development in the Appalachian counties of Ohio. She is Rural Action’s Executive Director Emerita. Previously, she served as co-director of United Campus Ministry at Ohio University and in campus ministry at Penn State University and Ohio University. Carol is a trained fiber artist and owner of Cabin-Craft Handweavings. She is vice-president of the Athens Foundation and on the board of the Sugar Bush Foundation, which is affiliated with the Ohio University Foundation. “ [1]
