Center for a Just Society
The Center for a Just Society works "to advance and defend Judeo-Christian principles of human dignity and social justice in law, policy and the public square," according to its website. [1]
The group's chair, Ken Connor, "served as counsel to Governor Jeb Bush in Bush v. Schiavo , one of the country's most watched cases in the long-running legal battle to protect a severely disabled woman, Terri Schindler Schiavo, from a court order to remove her feeding tube. Connor has been deeply involved in state and national politics and has had a leading role in presidential, congressional, and gubernatorial campaigns. In 1994, he was a contender for the Republican nomination for governor of the state of Florida."[2]
