Background

The project received Terms of Reference (TOR) Terms of Reference on 20 January 2010.

Project Abandoned

A mid-2011 news report stated that a coal allocation for the project had not been made. As of January 2014 there was no indication on the Ministry of Environment and Power website that the company had applied for an Environmental Clearance. Nor was the project mentioned on the company's own website or on the Ministry of Power's monthly status reports. It appears that the project has been abandoned.
