The Channel Foundation was founded in 1998 and “is a small, private foundation based in Seattle, Washington, USA that promotes leadership in women's human rights around the globe. Channel's mission is to fund and create opportunities for groups working in many regions of the world to ensure that women's human rights are respected, protected, and fulfilled.” [1]
